The PS 201 Penguins have been part of the District 25 basketball league for the past 7 years.  The basketball team is comprised of 4th and 5th grade students, both boys and girls who elect to try out for our team.  Within our league, we schedule games with participating schools and promote teamwork, sportsmanship and above all respect.  Through our practices and games, we work together to develop our individual abilities, our mental awareness, our communication skills, teamwork and our dedication to our teammates.  We also discuss the importance of leadership with our team, often engaging our 5th grade students to become mentors for our 4th grade students. Through our constant collaboration with one another, we have created a positive atmosphere that not only produces great basketball games, but greater accountability amongst the team members.  Each basketball team member understands the importance of their academics and work together.

On Stage cung cấp một nhóm các nghệ sĩ sân khấu chuyên nghiệp, những người sẽ hướng dẫn sinh viên trong bối cảnh hội thảo, bao gồm các hoạt động cá nhân và nhóm, khi họ tạo ra một vở nhạc kịch được dàn dựng hoàn chỉnh. Chương trình lên đến đỉnh điểm với ngày hội biểu diễn trong trường cho tất cả các lớp còn lại, cùng với buổi biểu diễn cuối cùng trong không gian phòng hòa nhạc đẳng cấp thế giới tuyệt đẹp tại trường đại học Queens dành cho phụ huynh, gia đình và khách mời.  Sự kiện cuối cùng đó kết hợp sinh viên với một đạo diễn chuyên nghiệp, quản lý sân khấu, thiết kế ánh sáng, kỹ sư âm thanh và phi hành đoàn để mang đến cho sinh viên trải nghiệm thế giới sân khấu chuyên nghiệp.
